日本でバングラデシュ戦勝記念式典が開催


駐日バングラデシュ大使館は本日2018年12月16日(日)、大使館内の敷地にて第48回目のバングラデシュ戦勝記念式典を開催した。バングラデシュ駐日大使ラバブ・ファティマは、在日バングラデシュ人代表者や関係者の面前で国旗を揚げ、国歌と国旗掲揚で式典を開始した。参加者は1971年にバングラデシュの歴史的独立戦争で命を捧げた殉教者を悼み、特別な礼拝（デュア）を唱和し、殉教者に敬意を表明する1分間の沈黙を捧げた。

次に、戦勝記念日に寄せられたバングラデシュ大統領、首相、外務大臣、外務担当国務大臣のメッセージが読み上げられた。駐日大使は、1975年8月15日に亡くなった建国の父、バンガバンドゥ・シェイク・ムジブル・ラーマンとその家族に敬意を表した後に、解放戦争の殉教者たちにも敬意を払い、20万人の女性が犠牲を強いられたと述べた。大使は、バングラデシュを世界の発展のモデルに導いているのは、首相のダイナミックなリーダーシップにあると語った。バングラデシュが開発を続けるために、大使はすべての、特に日本に住む関係者に、国の発展のためにより多くの貢献をし、国の健全なイメージを維持するよう、参加者全員に促した。

式典後半には、愛国唱歌、ラビンドラ・サンギート（タゴールの詩）や詩の音読を含む国際色豊かな文化プログラムが演奏された。本プログラムの終盤に、参加者全員が国歌を斉唄し、本式典は閉会した。式典終了後には、参加者にバングラデシュ料理が振舞われた。本イベントには駐日バングラデシュ大使館関係者や日本に住む多くの在日バングラデシュ人が列席した。

Victory Day Observed in Japan


The 48th glorious Victory Day of Bangladesh was observed in Tokyo, Japan today (16 December 2018, Sunday) with due respect and festivity along with different activities organized by the Embassy of Bangladesh, Japan. The program started with hoisting of the National Flag with National Anthem at the Embassy premises in the morning. Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan, Rabab Fatima, hoisted the flag while all the officials and representatives of Bangladesh community were present. Later one-minute silence of respect followed by special prayer (dua) was offered in the memory of the martyrs who dedicated their lives in the historic war of independence of Bangladesh in 1971.

After that, messages given on the Victory Day by the Honorable President, Prime-Minister, Foreign Minister and State-Minister for Foreign Affairs were read out to the audiences. Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan delivered a speech where she solemnly recalled and paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and his family members who died on 15 August 1975; she also paid homage to the martyrs of our liberation war and sacrifices made by the two lacs women. Ambassador told that it is the Prime Minister’s hard work and dynamic leadership that made Bangladesh as the role model of development to the world. To continue the development, she urged all, especially living in Japan to contribute more for the well-being of the nation and to uphold the image of our country.

A colorful cultural program including patriotic song, Rabindra Sangeet and recitation of the poem was staged. The program ended with singing the national anthem by all. Later Bangladeshi foods were offered to the guests. All officials and staffs of the embassy and many Bangladeshi living in Japan were present.
